HOW TO ADD MORE PROTIEN

Want to bulk it up? You can easily turn this into a protein-packed Alfredo. Try adding:

  • Chicken – Grilled, shredded, or rotisserie works perfectly.
  • Shrimp – Sautéed in garlic and butter first.
  • Ground Beef or Hamburger Mince – Browned and seasoned.
  • Tuna – Canned tuna is affordable and super convenient.
  • Bacon – Crispy bacon bits add a smoky, salty flavor.
  • Meatballs – Leftovers or frozen meatballs work great in this creamy base.

Mix any of these into the sauce before adding the spaghetti, or simply top your bowl for a delicious, protein-rich meal.

📝 TIPS AND TRICKS

Use Any Melty Cheese – Cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix—whatever you have!

Avoid Pre-Shredded Cheese – It might be convenient, but pre-shredded cheese often contains anti-caking agents and preservatives that prevent it from melting smoothly. For a creamier sauce, grate your own cheese fresh!

Upgrade It! Toss in some veggies like sautéed mushrooms or steamed broccoli for extra nutrients.

Make It Extra Saucy – If the sauce gets too thick, stir in a splash of pasta water to loosen it up.

❓ FAQS

HOW TO STORE ANY LEFTOVERS

Got leftovers? No problem! Transfer the cooled Alfredo spaghetti to an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave with a splash of milk or water to loosen up the sauce.

CAN I MAKE THIS AHEAD OF TIME?

Yes, you can! Make the Alfredo sauce and cook the spaghetti ahead of time, then store them separately in the fridge for up to 2 days. When you're ready to eat, gently reheat the sauce, stir in a splash of milk or cream to loosen it, and then toss in the pasta until everything is hot and creamy again.
