💰WHY IS THIS BUDGET-FRIENDLY?
Minimal ingredients: You only need basic pantry staples like chocolate, pretzels, and M&Ms — no fancy tools or pricey add-ins.
Big batch, small cost: One tray makes plenty of bark, perfect for gifting multiple people without breaking the bank.
Customizable: Use whatever chocolate or toppings you already have — leftover candy, marshmallows, cookies, all work beautifully!
🎄WHAT IS CHRISTMAS BARK?
Christmas bark is a festive treat made by spreading melted chocolate on a tray, topping it with candies, nuts, or pretzels, then chilling and breaking it into pieces.

🥄 INGREDIENTS NEEDED
200 g dark or milk chocolate (whatever you love most)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (for that glossy, chocolate finish)
Mini pretzels (your reindeer antlers!)
Red M&Ms (Rudolph’s signature nose)
Candy eyes (the most important detail)
Optional to sprinkle on top:
Crushed Oreos
Crushed Peppermint candy canes
Festive sprinkles

Melt the chocolate:
Break your chocolate into small chunks, place in a heatproof bowl with the coconut oil, and melt it gently in the microwave in 20-second bursts (stirring between each).

Spread it out:
Pour the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking tray and spread it into a thin, even layer using the back of a spoon.
Decorate!
While the chocolate is still warm, start building your herd:
Place mini pretzels at the top for antlers.
Add two candy eyes below.
Finish with a red M&M for the nose.
It’s basically edible arts and crafts.
Set and snap:
Pop the tray into the fridge for about 20–30 minutes until firm. Once set, break it into rustic pieces.
🎁 HOW TO GIFT YOUR REINDEER BARK
Once chilled and broken, wrap the pieces in cellophane bags or pop them in festive tins with a ribbon. Add a cute tag that says “You’re DEER to me!” These make the sweetest homemade Christmas candy gifts for friends, coworkers, or teachers.
