Description

This Hummus Pita (easy!) is the ultimate loaded pocket sandwich that’s creamy, crunchy, and totally delicious. It feels fancy without the effort.


Ingredients

2 pita breads

1/2 cup hummus

1 cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half

1 cup of shredded lettuce


Instructions

Warm your pita: Toast or lightly heat it until soft.

Spread the hummus: Generously coat the inside of each pita pocket with creamy hummus.

Pile on the veggies: Layer in lettuce and sliced tomatoes.

Load it up: Add your crispy bacon (or swap in your favorite protein like falafel, chicken, or beef).
