Description
This 2-ingredient yogurt cheesecake is the viral Japanese dessert made with just Greek yogurt and cookies. It's creamy, high in protein and ridiculously easy to make—simply combine the two ingredients and chill until you get a soft, cheesecake-like texture. There's no baking required, making it an easy dessert or snack when you're craving cheesecake.
Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
- 4 sweet biscuits of choice
- OPTIONAL
- 50 g dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Spoon the full-fat Greek yogurt into your container and smooth the top.
- Gently push the cookies straight into the yogurt, spacing them.
- Melt the chocolate with a small amount of coconut oil until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the top, spreading it into an even layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or until the chocolate has set and the cookies have softened into a cheesecake-like texture.
Notes
Use full-fat Greek yogurt — low-fat won’t set properly
The longer it chills, the firmer it gets
You can make it straight in the container (yes, really)
