Description

Easy 4-Ingredient Jalapeno Mayo has spicy jalapenos, zesty lime juice, garlic, and store-bought mayo. Use it as a dipping sauce, on sandwiches, crispy fries, onion rings, or as a salad dressing to add flavor to your favorite dishes. Whether you're hosting a barbecue, packing a lunch, or simply craving a tasty snack, this Jalapeno mayo adds a deliciously creamy and spicy kick.


Ingredients

1 cup store-bought mayonnaise (good quality makes all the difference)

2-3 jalapenos (fresh or jarred), seeded and diced

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder (or one small garlic clove)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

salt to taste


Instructions

Combine the mayonnaise, diced jalapenos, lime juice, garlic powder, and chopped cilantro in a food processor.

Process ingredients together until well combined.

Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning with salt, if needed.

Transfer the Jalapeno Mayo to a clean jar or container with a tight-fitting lid.

Refrigerate the Jalapeno Mayo for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve chilled and enjoy with sandwiches, burgers, tacos, wraps, or as a dipping sauce for fries and veggies.

 

Notes

Chill Time: While it's tempting to dig into your jalapeno mayo right away, allowing it to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or longer, if possible) will intensify the flavors.
