This easy sugar free granola recipe is crunchy, naturally sweetened with dried fruit and made with no added sugar. Packed with oats, nuts and seeds, it's an easy homemade breakfast that's completely customizable.
Ingredients
4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup raw nuts such as pecan, walnuts, or macadamia nuts.
1/2 cup seeds such as pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flax, or hemp.
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup melted coconut oil (or olive oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup coconut flakes (optional)
1 cup chopped dried fruit such as raisins, dried cranberries, dates, or apricots.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix oats, nuts, seeds, salt, and cinnamon.
Stir in melted coconut oil and vanilla extract, making sure everything is well coated.
Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, add coconut flakes and bake until golden brown.
Remove from oven and stir in dried fruit while the granola is still warm.
Let cool completely.
