Description

Air fryer carrot chips (+ a dipping sauce!) Roasted to perfection in the air fryer, they’re naturally sweet, perfectly seasoned, and ridiculously delicious. Serve with a tangy homemade ranch sauce that’s part mayo, part yogurt.

Ingredients

Scale

3 large carrots (peeled and sliced thin)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons grated parmesan (optional, but SO good)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Cracked black pepper, to taste

HOMEMADE GARLIC DIPPING SAUCE

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup plain yogurt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F)—a lower temp helps dehydrate and crisp without burning.

Peel and slice the carrots as thinly as possible using a mandoline or sharp knife. (Thin = crispy!)

Toss slices in olive oil, salt, parmesan, and seasonings.

Air fry in a single layer (you may need to work in batches) for 10–14 minutes, shaking halfway. Keep an eye near the end—some slices crisp faster!

Let them cool slightly—they’ll crisp up more as they cool.

HOW TO MAKE THE GARLIC DIPPING SAUCE

Mix all of the ingredients together and serve on the side.

Notes

The thinner, the better – Thick slices = chewy. Thin slices = that satisfying snap.

Don’t overcrowd the basket – Give those carrot chips space to crisp.

What to Serve With These Carrot Chips: Burgers or wraps, Grilled chicken or roasted salmon, Hummus, guac, or your favorite veggie dip, as a crunchy topping on salads or soups!
