Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F.

Add the cocoa powder and mix until you have a smooth, thick batter.

Pour into a lined or greased baking tin.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow to cool before slicing (this helps them firm up).

🍫 Chocolate chips – Add ¼–½ cup to the batter or sprinkle on top before baking. Easiest and most effective option.

🍯 Honey or maple syrup drizzle – Drizzle over the top after baking for extra sweetness.

🍌 Extra ripe bananas – The darker and spottier, the sweeter your brownies.

🌴 Coconut sugar or granulated sugar (1–2 tbsp) – Mix into the batter for a sweeter, richer flavor.

Use overripe bananas with brown spots for maximum sweetness.

For extra indulgence, stir in dark chocolate chips.

Almond butter or cashew butter works beautifully if you want a peanut-free option.

Let them cool completely for a fudgier texture.
