🥯 STUFFED BAGELS WITH CREAM CHEESE

TikTok has spoken—stuffed bagels (along with pizza toast) are officially a thing, and we’re totally on board. Whether you keep it simple with melted cheese or get creative with fillings, they are so easy to make and even easier to eat!

❤️ WHY THIS RECIPE IS BUDGET FRIENDLY

Home-made – Preparing these at home can be significantly cheaper than purchasing pre-made stuffed bagels from a store or café. For instance, homemade bagels can be over five times cheaper than store-bought ones.

Endlessly Customizable – From classic cheese to bold flavors like pizza or jalapeño, you can make it your own.

🥄 INGREDIENTS NEEDED AND SUBSTITUTIONS

BAGELS:

If bagels aren't available, you can use crusty rolls, English muffins, or even thick slices of bread as a base.

CREAM CHEESE:

Make sure it's softened. Leave it out of the fridge for a bit before using it.

SUGAR:

Honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar can be used as natural sweeteners in place of sugar.

ITALIAN SEASONING:

A mix of dried basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and marjoram can replace Italian seasoning.

MELTED BUTTER:

Margarine, olive oil, or coconut oil can serve as substitutes for butter.

GARLIC POWDER:

Garlic paste can be used or fresh, crushed garlic.

SHREDDED CHEESE:

Any melting cheese like mozzarella, cheddar, gouda, or Parmesan cheese.
