🇹🇷 WHAT IS SEMOLINA PUDDING?

Semolina dessert is a creamy pudding made from semolina, milk, and sugar — popular in many Arabic, Turkish, Lebanese, and Indian cultures. Semolina dessert is also popular in European countries such as Greece, Germany, and Poland.

🥄 INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

2 cups milk (500 ml)
½ cup semolina (60g)
3 tablespoons sugar (swap for honey, maple syrup, pureed dates, or whatever sweetener you fancy!)
½ tablespoon vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon

Heat the milk:
In a saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat until it just begins to steam.

Add the semolina:
Slowly pour in the semolina while whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Keep whisking until the mixture starts to thicken — about 3–5 minutes.

Sweeten it up:
Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Cover with a lid and let the pudding rest for 5 minutes.

Serve:
Spoon into small bowls while warm. Drizzle generously with honey, pour over some cream, and sprinkle a few pistachios or fresh berries.
