π₯ Semolina Pudding Ingredients
What type of semolina should I use?
Use regular wheat semolina for this pudding. Fine semolina will give you a smoother, creamier pudding, while coarser semolina creates a little more texture.
Β½ cup (60 g) semolina. Fine semolina will give you the smoothest, creamiest pudding, while a coarser semolina will have a little more texture.
2 cups (500 ml) milk: Whole milk gives the pudding a rich and creamy texture, but you can also use reduced-fat milk or your favorite plant-based milk.
3 tablespoons sugar: adds just enough sweetness without making the pudding overly sweet. You can adjust this to taste or substitute honey or maple syrup.
Β½ tablespoon vanilla extract: adds warmth and sweetness and works beautifully with the creamy milk and semolina.
β
teaspoon ground cinnamon: adds a subtle warmth without overpowering the vanilla. You can add a little more if you're a cinnamon lover.
Optional toppings
Honey: A drizzle of honey over warm semolina pudding is delicious and adds extra sweetness.
Cream: A small splash of cream makes the pudding even richer and creamier.
Walnuts: Chopped walnuts add crunch and contrast beautifully with the soft pudding.
Fresh berries: Strawberries, raspberries or blueberries add freshness and a little acidity to balance the sweetness.
