🍫 CHOCOLATE YOGURT BITES

You know that moment when you open the fridge, looking for something that’s not quite dessert but totally feels like it?

There are lots of recipes for strawberry bites out there, but these are one of a kind because the granola crunch pairs so beautifully with the creamy yogurt, while the pop of fresh strawberries keeps things juicy

These easy strawberry yogurt bites might become your next best healthy dessert recipe!

We have our fair share of strawberry dessert recipes on this blog like, strawberry brownies, or creamy protein rice pudding with strawberries and cream. But these chocolate-covered frozen strawberries are like frozen little treasures and the perfect solution for "I need a snack right now".

🍓 FROZEN STRAWBERRY YOGURT BITES

These strawberry bites with granola are the perfect sweet treat for when you want to feel a little fancy but also keep things simple. They are like strawberries dipped in chocolate but better!

Bonus: strawberry clusters are freezer-friendly, snack-worthy, and ridiculously easy to make.

Let’s get to the recipe so you can make these chocolate-covered yogurt bites.

❤️ WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS

Simple Ingredients: Just strawberries, yogurt, chocolate, and a bit of granola. We’re keeping it simple, yet decadent.

No-Bake: No ovens, no stress, just easy-peasy freezing.

Customizable: Swap Greek yogurt for plant-based, or go heavy on the granola for extra crunch. You’re the boss.

The Best Frozen Snack: These bites live their best life in your freezer. Pop one out when you need a quick treat.

🥄 INGREDIENTS NEEDED AND SUBSTITUIONS

STRAWBERRIES, DICED:

Washed and stems removed. You can also use frozen strawberries.

GREEK YOGURT:

Vanilla-flavored or strawberry-flavored works too, if you like it sweeter! Use dairy-free yogurt if vegan.

VANILLA EXTRACT:

For a little more flavor.

CHOCOLATE CHIPS:

Semi-sweet chocolate chips are my favorite. You can use dark or milk —your choice! If you use dark chocolate chips you might want to add a teaspoon of sweetener of your choice.

COCONUT OIL:

For that glossy, smooth chocolate finish.

GRANOLA:

Or your favorite breakfast cereal. (optional but so worth it!)

Chopped strawberries.

Step 1: Prep the strawberries
Dice the strawberries into bite-sized pieces. You’re aiming for chunks small enough to be snackable but big enough to still taste like, well, strawberries.

Step 2: Coat in yogurt
In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the strawberries until they’re fully coated. Add the granola and stir well.

Step 4: Dip in chocolate
While the yogurt bites are chilling, melt your chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave (in 30-second intervals, stirring in between) or over a double boiler until smooth. Once the bites are frozen, dip each cluster into the melted chocolate to coat the bottom or drizzle chocolate over the top if you’re feeling artsy.

Step 5: Freeze again
Return the bites to the baking sheet and freeze for another 20 minutes to let the chocolate set. Now you’ve got a tray of perfectly chocolate-covered yogurt bites!

📝 TIPS AND TRICKS

Use a non-stick surface: Parchment paper is your best friend to avoid messy clusters sticking to the tray.

Customize: Swap the granola for crushed nuts, crispy rice cereal, or even crushed pretzels for a sweet-and-salty vibe.

Storage: Keep these yogurt bites in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week (if they last that long!).

Yes! Swap the Greek yogurt for a dairy-free yogurt alternative and use dairy-free chocolate chips.
