STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL (5 INGREDIENTS!)

↓ Jump to Recipe

Looking for that perfect morning bowl that’s equal parts dessert and health food, this Loaded Strawberry Bowl (5 ingredients!) is it. Thick, sweet, creamy, and full of real fruit flavor. It’s a total win for breakfast, post-workout fuel, or a 3 p.m. pick-me-up that looks way fancier than it actually is.

P.S. You will love my strawberry pancakes next time.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (or plain, strawberry, or vanilla yogurt)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana (at room temperature)

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Blend it up!
Toss the frozen strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, and sweetener into a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.
If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk. You’re going for a thick, spoonable consistency — not a drinkable smoothie.

Pour and enjoy!
Spoon your strawberry blend into a bowl and load it up with your favorite toppings.

❓FAQS

CAN I MAKE THIS AHEAD OF TIME?

You can, but it’s best enjoyed fresh! 🍓 Blend everything except the toppings, pour it into an airtight container, and freeze.
When you’re ready to eat, let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then stir or re-blend until creamy again.

DO I NEED A HIGH-SPEED BLENDER?

Yes — a high-speed blender makes it smoother and creamier, but a regular one works if you stop and stir a few times.

Description

Looking for that perfect morning bowl that’s equal parts dessert and health food, this Loaded Strawberry Bowl is it. Think thick, sweet, creamy, and full of real fruit flavor. It’s a total win for breakfast, post-workout fuel, or a 3 p.m. pick-me-up that looks way fancier than it actually is.

Ingredients

Scale

½ cup milk of choice (Almond, oat, coconut, or dairy — any milk works beautifully.)

¼ cup Greek Yogurt (or plain, strawberry, or vanilla)

½ teaspoon maple syrup (honey or agave)

2 cups frozen strawberries

1 ripe banana

TOPPING IDEAS

Fresh strawberries, raspberries, or sliced kiwi.

A drizzle of peanut butter or almond butter

Crunchy granola or toasted coconut flakes

Chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fiber

A sprinkle of dark chocolate chips (you know you want to!)

Instructions

Blend it up!
Toss the frozen strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, and sweetener into a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.
If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk. You’re going for a thick, spoonable consistency — not a drinkable smoothie.

Pour and enjoy!
Spoon your strawberry blend into a bowl and load it up with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for that thick, frosty texture.

Blend slowly and scrape down the sides to keep your smoothie bowl creamy without over-blending.

Make it vegan by using plant-based milk and dairy-free yogurt.
